Returning to Earning Program

Details of this new state government program are now available at the Parents Returning to Earning website. Please check the eligibility criteria carefully, download the application forms and follow the application instructions. 

The Monash Short Courses Centre (as part of the Monash Student Association) is an approved provider of training for the Parents Returning to Work Program. This is an initiative of the Victorian State Government and is designed to assist parents prepare for re-entry into the workforce. Eligible parents planning to return to work can apply for grants of up to $1000 which can be used for training and related expenses.

  • computer courses (especially MYOB, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel and Project)
  • Workplace Safety for the Office

  • Assertiveness Skills
  • Professional Writing for Business
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
